Notice of Public Work Session for the North Hamilton Urban Renewal District
Jul 24, 2018

The City of Hamilton is continuing to gather information regarding the proposed North Hamilton Urban Renewal District along Highway 93 and Old Corvallis Road from Foxfield Street north and east.  The goal of this District is to help make available funding for infrastructure improvements in the urban renewal area.

The City would like input from affected landowners and area residents regarding improvements that may be needed in the area.  The City would also like input as City staff draft the proposed urban renewal district plan.

The City Council Committee of the Whole is holding a public work session for the purpose of gathering input from landowners and interested citizens on July 24, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hamilton City Hall community room at 223 S. 2nd Street, Hamilton, MT (upstairs).

Please visit the City website www.cityofhamilton.net for a draft map of the proposed area, the City resolution explaining the types of issues an urban renewal district might address, and an initial draft plan.  These materials can also be obtained in hard copy by calling or visiting the Hamilton City Clerk’s Office, 223 S. 2nd Street, Hamilton, MT (406) 363-2101, ext. 230.

If you would like more information or have questions about this project prior to the upcoming public meeting, please contact City Public Works Director Donny Ramer at 363-6717 or dpw@cityofhamilton.net.  You may also contact RCEDA director Julie Foster at 375-9416 or julie@rceda.org.
