FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 11/17/20 from Ravalli County Public Health
RAVALLI COUNTY COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH UPDATE
At this time, public health resources are stretched very thin. We are working to bring a more streamlined approach to providing information and support to our COVID positive residents. We hope to bring these efforts online in the next week. We will continue to keep the county informed as we progress. Public Health will also begin posting daily numbers on the Sheriffs app, Ravalli County Public Health Facebook page and Office of Emergency Management page. Information on COVID 19 found at the Ravalli County website @ https://ravalli.us/631/Corona-Virus-COVID-19 will be updated with changes to the reporting process in the next few days.
If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, please follow the recommended guidelines:
- Please isolate at home away from others in your household
- Notify any close contacts that may have been exposed
- Close contact instructions can be found at the Ravalli County website
- You may return to normal activities 10 days from when symptoms began, provided symptoms have improved with no new symptoms and no fever in 24 hours.
It is more critical than ever that we come together as a community and support each other.
Public Health would like to thank all the school nurses and school staff that have worked so hard to not only provide a safe environment for learning but education, compassion and support to many families in our community.
It’s up to everyone to protect ourselves and our neighbors.
