Parklet Design/Build RFP

The City of Hamilton, in partnership with the Hamilton Downtown Association, Downtown Hamilton Business Improvement district, and Bike Walk Bitterroot, is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to design and build a modular parklet in downtown Hamilton.  Parklets are public seating platforms that convert curbside parking spaces into vibrant public spaces.  Also known as street seats or curbside seating, parklets are intended for people;  they offer a place to stop, sit, and mingle while taking in the activities of the street. Many parklets have a distinctive design that incorporates seating, greenery, and/or bike racks and accommodate unmet demand for public space in commercial areas.  Hamilton's parklet will be setup up each spring and taken down and stored inside each fall/winter.
